Baller does not require an account and does not run advertising.
Your name and profile icon, favourite clubs, lesson progress, test-out achievements, unfinished session, Ball Score results, XP and streaks are stored locally. Baller has no account or cloud sync. Deleting the app removes local data. Settings → Reset all progress also removes learning and profile data; purchases remain managed by Apple.
The For you tab loads fixtures and results from Baller's score server, which runs on Cloudflare and gets its data from football-data.org. Every install receives the same feed; the app filters it for your favourite clubs on your device. Requests do not include your name, clubs, Ball Score, answers or a Baller user identifier. Like any web request, they disclose your IP address and ordinary connection metadata to Cloudflare. The score server does not keep request logs. Learning remains available without a connection.
Apple processes payments through StoreKit. Baller reads the verified purchase status to unlock the course and restore purchases. Baller does not receive your payment details.
Baller uses PostHog in the United States (US Cloud) to measure onboarding steps, screen visits, lesson and test activity, purchase outcomes, pauses and returns, and to collect crash reports. Reports contain a random installation identifier, event timestamps, app and device/OS versions, and crash stack traces with recent app steps. They do not contain your name, email address, typed answers or screen recordings. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps. Network requests reveal your IP address to the service; geographic enrichment is disabled. Crash reports are saved locally and uploaded on the next launch. Offline events are queued within a fixed storage limit.
Notifications are optional. They are scheduled locally on your device with your permission.
Sharing a Ball Score is optional. The card contains your displayed name, score, Baller rank and, if selected, a favourite club. The iOS share sheet sends it only to the destination you choose.
